Day 1: Arrival

Arrival in PAris

Welcome to Paris! You’ll be greeted by one of your trip co-hosts at the airport. A shared shuttle will bring you to the hotel. Get to know your fellow travelers at our welcome dinner at Le Train Bleu, one of Paris’s oldest and most beautiful restaurants.

Day 2: Paris Highlights

Paris Highlights Tour

We’ll get acquainted with Paris via a tuk tuk tour of the city! Our local guide will take us past all the major highlights, from the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre to Notre Dame and the Arc de Triomphe. Learn the history of Paris aboard an eco-friendly, open-air vehicle.

After the tour, indulge at a Parisian cafe for lunch (optional) and sample the rich hot chocolate at Angelina’s.

Learn about Paris’s rich black history on this tour by Walking the Spirit. Discover how black artists and intellectuals, from Josephine Baker to James Baldwin, lived and the challenges they faced.

Day 4: Photoshoot | Louvre

Eiffel Tower PhotoshooT | Louvre

Wake up bright and early for your close-up! We’ve booked a group photoshoot in front of Paris’s most iconic structure, the Eiffel Tower. Come dressed to impress!

After the photoshoot, we’ll visit the Louvre. Explore the many priceless pieces of art, from the Mona Lisa to the Venus de Milo, at your own pace. Entry ticket and audio guide are included.

Day 5: Little Africa | Seine River Cruise

Little Africa Scavenger Hunt | Seine River Cruise

We’ll visit La Goutte d’Or, a neighborhood in Montmartre known as Little Africa, for some friendly competition. Split into teams and get to know the area’s history and businesses on a fun scavenger hunt.

In the evening, we’ll embark on a scenic dinner cruise along the Seine river. Admire the sparkling lights of the Eiffel Tower as we leisurely sail along Paris’s most famous waterway.

Day 6: Palace of Versailles

Versailles Half-Day Tour

Travel back in time and experience the grandeur of the Palace of Versailles, the former home of Marie Antoinette and Louis XIV, the Sun King, on this half-day tour. Our tour guide will share the history behind the palace’s most beautiful rooms, from the King’s Grand Apartment to the Hall of Mirrors. End your visit with a stroll through the manicured gardens before returning to Paris in the afternoon.

Day 7: Montmartre Wine Festival

Wine Festival | Farewell Dinner

After a morning on your own, we’ll meet at the annual Montmartre Wine Festival. Celebrate one of the only remaining vineyards in Paris with an array of fun activities, from food and wine tastings to music and dance performances.

We’ll end our week in Paris with a farewell dinner at Bô. This black-owned restaurant in the Latin Quarter serves Caribbean small plates and tasty rum-based cocktails in a warm, relaxed atmosphere.

Day 8: Departure

Departure From Paris

Depart Paris with new travel buddies and lifelong memories. Transportation to the airport is provided.

Important Information
  • A passport valid for 3 months after your return date is required for entry into France.
  • A tourist visa is not required for American citizens visiting for less than 90 days. Please consult the U.S. State Department or your country’s corresponding French embassy to confirm entry requirements.
  • France currently requires visitors to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and have a booster shot for entry into the country. The entire group must adhere to local safety guidelines including wearing a mask and social distancing.
  • Travel insurance, including emergency medical, evacuation, and repatriation coverage, must be purchased before departure in order to participate. Square Mouth is a great resource for finding travel insurance.


The total cost of this trip is $2,500 for a double occupancy room. If paid in full, the discounted rate is $2,400. Single rooms are also available for $3,100.

You may opt to pay in installments. A $400 deposit is required to secure your spot on the trip, followed by 6 payments of $350 due on the 15th of each month. Your trip must be paid in full by September 15, 2022.

Booked by Iman understands circumstances may arise that prevent you from attending the trip and will make every effort to provide a refund. All trip deposits and payments are refundable up to 100 days prior to the trip start date.

99 days or less prior to the trip start date, deposits are non-refundable. All other payments, excluding your deposit, will be refunded, minus any unrecoverable costs.
